SARP welcomes all who want to actively conserve and restore the aquatic wildlife and habitats in the southeastern United States for the benefit of all people. Partners actively support, participate, or lead conservation projects.

• Protect, restore, and conserve aquatic biota and their habitats throughout the region, encouraging wise, sustainable use
• Increase understanding of regional resource issues among all stakeholders, from citizens to resource managers
